A contact QR code replaces the awkward “I’ll text you my number.” One scan saves your name, company, phone, email, and site into the other person’s address book. It is the most useful square you can put on a business card besides your actual name.
Leave unused fields blank. Every extra line makes the QR denser. A first name, last name, mobile, email, and website is enough for most introductions. Print the code at least 2 cm wide on cards, with a quiet white margin.
Badge and conference tips
On a lanyard badge, high contrast beats brand gradients. Black modules on white still scan across a handshake distance. If you also want analytics on how many people saved you, use a URL code to a contact page with tracking instead of a pure vCard.
