This policy describes what My QR Code Maker stores when you use the generator, scanner, and accounts on this site.
What we collect
- Account data: email and a hashed password if you register.
- Dynamic QR data: destination URL, optional label, scan counts, and a hashed IP plus user-agent per scan.
- Technical logs: standard web server logs (IP, time, path) for security and uptime.
Static QR generation happens in the browser. We do not receive the payload unless you create a dynamic code or contact us with it.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not run third-party advertising cookies on the generator pages.
Retention
You can delete dynamic codes from your account. Deleted codes stop redirecting. Scan files may remain until you delete the code. Server logs rotate on a normal hosting schedule.
